You can go through a lot of batteries if you play Wii. The controllers, also known as Wii remotes, use two AA batteries, but you can remove the need for these with a battery pack. The battery pack and docking station make your Wii remotes rechargeable, so you will never have to replace batteries again. This is convenient for families who often lose batteries, and the docking station will keep your controllers in one place.
Remove the back cover from the Wii remote and the batteries within.
Connect the Wii remote rechargeable battery pack in the batteries and cover's place. It pops in just like the back cover.
Plug the charging dock into an open electrical outlet, and set it on a flat surface.
Connect the Wii remote to one of the docking stations. Face the buttons of the remote out. The bottom of the remote makes a connection with the metal pins at the bottom of the station. A blue light turns on while the remote is charging.
