The path to a college degree starts with these simple steps.

We are accepting applications for Fall 2024 from all degree and non-degree students.

Deadline for the Fall 2024 Semester

International - Monday, August 12
Domestic - Tuesday, August 27

STEP 1: Apply online and choose Kingsborough Community College as your first choice. We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2024. Apply as a freshman if you have never taken any college or university classes or have been a College Now student; apply as a transfer student if you have taken any college classes.

Keep a copy of your Account Summary once you’re done: It contains your new 8-digit CUNYfirst ID number, also known as your EMPLID.

STEP 2: Pay your application fee.
CUNY accepts all major credit cards and electronic checks online or a money order via mail.

STEP 3: Submit your documents.

• Official High School transcripts. If you attended multiple High Schools, transcripts from all schools are required.
  or
• General Equivalency Diploma (GED/TASC) with scoresheet and Diploma – minimum score required: 2250

• Official Transcript(s) from all colleges, universities and/or proprietary schools previously attended.
• Official High School Transcript and Proof of Graduation

Applicants Educated Outside of the United States

• Official transcripts with certified translations may be evaluated by the University Application Processing Center (UAPC) or you can opt to have them evaluated by one of the linked evaluations services.
• International Education Evaluation (IEE) credential evaluation service has created a custom application for KCC students that will make sure you select the right kind of evaluation at a discounted rate ($145 for the evaluation). You can access their application by clicking here.
• SpanTran credential evaluation service has created a custom application for KCC students that will make sure you select the right kind of evaluation at a discounted rate ($170 for the evaluation). You can access their application by clicking here.

• If you were educated in the U.S. and are ready to send your official documents, you can email them to Sendtranscript.2kcc@kbcc.cuny.edu.

• If you were educated outside the U.S., please follow the directions outlined above .

STEP 4: Contact us via Zoom (instructions below) once you have submitted your online application so we can complete the application process.
